HP distributor ArtSystems organised installing the 1.8 tonne machine at the wide-format print company, bringing in a 55tonne crane for the task.
The operation involved building a scaffold platform and taking out a third-storey window in order to move the machine into position.
The L65500 replaced a HP Designjet 9000 model which was also removed by the crane and the installation was completed in the space of one morning.
The difficult installation comes just two weeks after a Czech printer used a helicopter to also install a L65500.
