Heidelberg received two Intertech Technology Awards at this year’s event for its print production press the Prinect Press Center XL 2 and its label printing press the Gallus Labelfire 340.  This is the company’s 37th and 38th InterTech award for outstanding and innovative products – making them the most decorated manufacturer in the industry.

Companies can only submit their products if they have been commercially available in the marketplace for no longer than three years (five years under some circumstances), proven in industrial/commercial applications, beyond beta testing (pre-release products are ineligible and have different and innovative technology).

These technologies may be part of a particular product, a family of products, an option or enhancement to an existing product, a stand-alone technology or a particular product that is the result of innovative technology.

These awards have been running since 1978. Entries for the 2018 awards will be open from early next year with the deadline June 1.
