
Melbourne commercial printer, Hi-Mark Press is in liquidation after 50 years in the print industry.
Hi-Mark describes itself as five decade old family-owned and run print and design business specialising in brochures, stationary and promotional material printing.
Its website it still up and running, however calls to the business go unanswered.
The Williamstown business collapsed into liquidation yesterday with Roger Grant and Shane Deane from Dye & Co appointed to wind it up.
The Victorian print industry has been in strife over the past few months with several print outfits folding.
Hi-Mark joins Michael Wu’s On Demand and Longbeach Printing which faced financial strife soon after Wu was forced out of the Docklands Ability Group mega merger by his business partners, the Aboughattas brothers.
The Printcentre in Melbourne also locked out staff last week and is now in liquidation, as is Dandenong South’s Pax Printers which was swallowed by debt in July and owes money to 28 creditors.
