Adams Print hosts online auction of print and finishing equipment

Geelong-based business Adams Print is hosting an online auction of print and finishing equipment.

Machines being auctioned off include: a 2008 Heidelberg SM52 4 Colour with Coater Ani Colour Press; Heidelberg GTO46; Heidelberg KSBA Cylinder 460 x 585mm; Knorr 137cm Guillotine; Knorr Paper Unloader, Stack Lift, and Paper Jogger; Wohlenberg MCS2 Guillotine; Muller Martini “Prima” Gatherer Stitcher; Heidelberg, Stahl and Shoei 78cm & 52cm Paper Folders; and a Morgana Digi Fold Pro Folder Creaser.

In addition, a GMP Protopic Auto 540 Thermal Laminator, a shrink wrap tunnel, a pallet wrapper, a flammable storage cabinet, a compressor and a Vickers Stitcher and Paper Drill is also being auctioned off.

The auction follows the merger of Adams Print and Victoria-based Complete Colour earlier this month. At the time of the announcement, Adams Print confirmed co-owner Robert Soutar will retire, while his brother Shane Soutar will remain as managing director.

“I am excited to bring the rich legacy of the Adams Print brand into Complete Colour, a company renowned for its industry-leading environmental credentials and commitment to quality. Over the past 25 years, my brother Robert and I have been proud custodians of our 130-year-old company, building a reputation for excellence and integrity,” Shane said earlier this month.

“With Robert now retiring, we are confident that this transition will further elevate our brand within the trusted and environmentally conscious Complete Colour family. This merger represents not only a continuation but an enhancement of the values and standards our clients have come to expect from Adams Print.”

Complete Colour is a privately owned printing business that provides services to corporate, government and general commercial businesses. It is also a standard-bearer of environmentally credentialed printing.

An inspection is scheduled for 14 October, from 10am to 2pm and bidding will close at 3pm on Tuesday 13 October 2024.

A 16 per cent buyer’s premium applies to purchased machinery and all won and paid-for lots must be collected by 4pm, 21 October.
