Adstream and GSP move outdoor with new software

GSP claims it is the first Australian printing company to accept artwork via Adstream Quickcut, which ensures that every file exactly matches the original specification.

Adstream continues that advertising agencies can now work with the Quickcut software, which is already used by the newspaper and magazine industries for advertisements, to prepare and validate any print execution destined for outdoor advertising media companies.

Quickprint automatically performs over 290 technical checks and can correct technical errors on the fly, according to Adstream.

Peter Miller, managing director of Adstream Australia says the benefits for outdoor companies using Quickcut come in the form of reduced failure, reduced cost and tighter lead times.

He says, “This solution is good for outdoor media owners, agencies and advertisers. It’s where we try to add value right through our broadcast and print portfolio of services. GSP is a client-focused business and we are very excited to be working out of home at last.”

Meanwhile Peter Helft, general manager of GSP says, “Once artwork has arrived at GSP it will be produced according to the ISO 12647 Australian colour target – delivering peace of mind that brand values will be properly reproduced on all our printing presses.”
