Agfa releases new plate chemistries

Koni Neuhofer, Agfa’s Newspaper Product Manager, “This chemistry is 100 percent compatible with existing, proven and established plate processors, such as the :VSP85 and Haase machines.

“Customers who have already changed to the new developer and replenisher have found it increases bath life considerably – up to twice the yield of chemistry from the same quantity used previously. As a consequence, cleaning intervals are extended. Plate processors also remain much cleaner so there is a significant reduction in time spent cleaning the equipment, and water is the only cleaning agent required.

“The simplified cleaning process and savings on operator time and product quantities means the change over to the new chemistry represents a substantial cost saving to customers.”

The new chemistry is available immediately in Australia and New Zealand.
