Agfa wide format inkjet on the move

The printer will be used for functions ranging from technical & commercial training of staff as well as customer demonstrations and staff education. Plans are already in place to provide wide format print education to Sydney TAFE students.

The facility will enable us to showcase the equipment within the purpose built facility and produce high quality images from customer files onto their chosen substrates.

Ron Stewart, NSW Regional Manager says he is delighted with the showroom being on his modern site. He says, “Customers need to tick many boxes in their decision making process whenever they invest in capital equipment, this will enable them to tick the Agfa & the Anapurna box as well as the technical support box.”

Already the facility has been put to good use with Rashed Chughtai, technical manager holding a three-day technical training programme for Agfa staff, distributors and customers.

With the support of its national distributor Starleaton Agfa will carry a limited range of popular substrates used throughout the wide format sign and display markets. Other suppliers such as Alucobond have also supported our efforts with a range of Dibond composite panels.

Many substrates will be printed and finished in a variety of ways to decorate the showroom and demonstrate the diversity of this technology.

Already customers have requested private demonstrations where they can test and pre determine the results of their ideas.

Agfa says it has upheld its reputation for being the leading supplier of modern technology fully supported with a national technical support interface.
