The Australian Institute of Packaging will tomorrow host a full day of activities in Sydney kicking off with a packaging breakfast, followed by a technical forum featuring a variety of industry experts and the announcement of the 2019 PIDA winners at a gala dinner.
Finalists for the 2019 Australasian Packaging Innovation and Design Awards (PIDA) were announced earlier this month in five manufacturing categories including food; beverage; health, beauty and wellness; domestic and household and a new award category of labelling and decoration.
The PIDA awards are coordinated by the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) and Packaging New Zealand and serve as the exclusive feeder program for the WorldStar Packaging Awards. The 2019 PIDA winners will automatically be eligible for entry into the 2020 WorldStar Packaging Awards competition.

The 2019 AIP National Technical Forum brings together packaging technologists, designers, sales and marketing people from all industries to better understand the technical side of packaging design. The keynote speaker for the Women in Packaging Forum will be Nikki Moeschinger, Managing Director, BrandOpus. Nikki will discuss Creativity, Spirituality and Human Purpose at the Dawn of AI. Nikki’s presentation will examine the importance of creativity on the future of humanity.
