Albert Smith Signs grows team with new hires

Albert Smith Signs has expanded its team with new hires, including the appointment of Michael Schwalger as director of brand strategy and commercial development.

Schwalger brings to the role a wealth of experience in sales, team development, and signage manufacturing.

Prior to joining Albert Smith Signs, he was business development specialist at Link Signs. He also previously worked at other industry businesses including Printluxe, Visy, and Southern Impact.

“His passion for innovation and resilience in the industry makes him a perfect fit for our evolving journey,” the company said.

“Michael’s thoughtful reflections – like “Look after the customer, and the business will follow” and “Pressure can break you or shape you” – reflect the mindset we value deeply at Albert Smith Signs.

“From celebrating industry milestones to championing mental health initiatives, Michael’s positive energy and strategic perspective are already making an impact. We’re excited to see how his leadership helps us grow and thrive.”

The company has also hired Irfana Shawab as project coordinator, saying her experience as a civil engineer and estimator in the construction industry, combined with her sharp attention to detail and collaborative spirit, makes her an asset to the team.

“Her project management experience and passion for delivering excellence are the perfect bonus – making Irfana a standout addition to our growing crew,” it said.

“We’re excited to see the impact she’ll make as we continue to deliver outstanding signage solutions across Australia and beyond.”
