Anitech expands business with new premises and products

The distributor said its existing site in Laverton North had become too “congested”. The move is set to complete by 28 March.

Cameron McGregor, branch manager for Victoria and Tasmania, said the relocation would have positive implications for the company.

“The offices are now all located on a single floor above the showroom, while our showroom is the envy of the country,” he said.

“The warehouse consists of 800sqm of all new pallet racking, which is three times more space than our previous location, allowing for a much greater range and quantity of products to be stored locally.”

Anitech has also announced a number of new products.

Its new “completely degradable” 280gsm ISC5400 banner media is made from woven polyester and is said to be an alternative to PVC.

Anitech will also launch InkTec Corporation’s new Jetrix 2030FRK flatbed machine in Australia, with demonstrations set to commence in April.

General manager Barry Grant (pictured) said that the model had already a generated a “great deal of customer interest”.

“The new Jetrix can run CMYK plus white and varnish at 50sqm per hour in production mode. The flatbed configuration is 3,060×2,000 mm or 1,612mm width for the optional roll-to-roll format, making the machine suitable for indoor, outdoor and industrial applications,” he said.
