Apex debuting Ryobi at Ipex

Digital graphic company Apex is exhibiting the new RMGY Ryobi 928P press at the upcoming Ipex convention.

The Ryobi 928P consists of an eight-colour SRA1 convertible press equipped with LED-UV curing, a technology pioneered by RMGT Ryobi, which Apex says continues to re-invigorate Litho printing.

The combination of the two UV curing units and the latest Litho-press technology improves production efficiency by delivering a one pass instant curing process that produces 8-up A4 double side printing directly to stack ready for finishing and reducing production times.

Rob Fisher, event director at Ipex says, “In bringing the new RMGT Ryobi 928P to the show APEX are really getting behind the print in action theme of this year’s Ipex. This pioneering press will be in action throughout the show demonstrating how its range of smart printing technology provides automation for the ultimate in production quality.”

Neil Handforth, sales and marketing director at Apex says, “We are really pleased to be exhibiting the new RMGT Ryobi 928P in this configuration. We have made multiple sales of LED-UV presses in the UK market, and now have four in the SRA1 8-colour configuration, which represents something that UK printers will want to come and see close up.”

Ipex covers all applications of printing, pre-press, software, wide-format, digital, Litho, converting and finishing. The range and breadth of exhibitors will provide printers the opportunity to see the latest innovations.

The theme for Ipex 2017 is print in action showcasing innovation and technology in action. Running from October 31 to November 3, 2017 at the NEC Birmingham, online visitor registration is now open.
