The Australian Sign & Graphics Association (ASGA) and Make it Happen Signage Consultancy have teamed up to bring the Make it Happen Signage Bootcamps to Australia for the first time this year.
Registrations are now open for the Make it Happen Signage Bootcamp in Sydney, with those who register set to be the first in Australia to benefit from this globally recognised program, which will run on Monday 19 May at the Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park.
The full-day bootcamp, presented by ASGA and the Make it Happen Signage Consultancy, promises to deliver new knowledge and practical learnings and is ideal for both new industry participants and seasoned professionals.
Thousands of businesses across the UK and US have already benefited from these bootcamps, which are run by the dynamic Samantha Armstrong from Make it Happen Signage Consultancy.
The intensive program will provide the perfect opportunity for almost anyone involved in the signage industry to build knowledge and skills, enhance business, empower staff and improve relationships with clients.
“Whatever your role in our sector – business owners, sales professionals, estimators, project managers, graphic designers, marketing and planning officers or anyone, really –the Make it Happen Signage Bootcamp is a really valuable investment,” Mick Harrold, ASGA president, said.
“The full-day bootcamp will cover everything from products and materials, to the latest innovations to practical advice and strategies that will help you build your business success.
“There will be demonstrations, materials, hints, tips and great business advice … and with her engaging personality and style, Sam makes sure it’s not only educational and inspiring, but fun!”
While it is ideal for newcomers to the industry, Harrold said the quality of information and Sam’s extensive knowledge means there’s plenty to learn, even for those who have been in the industry for years.
“I attended one of Sam’s Bootcamps in the US a couple of years ago and came away with a huge amount of new knowledge and ideas.”
The full-day Signage Bootcamp will run from 9am until 4pm on Monday 19 May. Further sessions may be added if demand dictates, according to Harrold.
“We expect the interest in the Bootcamp to be very high, so we have already floated the idea of additional sessions with Sam – and we’ll certainly try to make the most of her visit and expand the program if the interest is there,” he says.
“Those who do make their way to Sydney for the Bootcamp can also get extra value from their trip by staying on for PacPrint 2025 and the Visual Impact Expo, which will run from Tuesday 20 to Friday 23 May at the same venue.
The cost of the Bootcamp is $950, however ASGA members can register for $850.
“This is a great opportunity to be among the first in Australia to benefit from this globally recognised Bootcamp, and we are really looking forward to bringing Sam and this fantastic program to Sydney,” Harold said
