ASGA to run WH&S Webinar for members on 18 March

ASGA has announced a special webinar for members on 18 March covering the latest in WH&S regulations and safety protocols.

Run in conjunction with WH&S experts, ASSA, the session coincides with recently-released member resources in this area.

ASGA member and events manager Damian Nielsen will be joined by Chris Tuck from ASSA to review the latest changes to guidelines and regulations, discuss important safety protocols and best practices, and go through the extensive list of resources made available by ASSA to ASGA members.

“There is no more important area for business owners and managers than work health and safety, and we are committed to supporting our members to ensure they stay up to date with the very latest information and guidelines,” Nielsen said.

“Recently, we were delighted to formalise our partnership with ASSA, to expand our level of support to members in this important area.”

ASSA, which was established in 1999, is part of a family-owned business which has helped shape the workplace safety sector in Australia for more than 50 years.

Its compliance management system, and comprehensive suite of tools, resources and services have taken the hassle out of WH&S compliance for thousands of businesses across Australia and New Zealand – and now, they form part of the resources available to ASGA members.

“Not only will attendees be able to learn from Chris’ extensive knowledge and experience in this area, but we will go through the resources offered via our member portal, and demonstrate to businesses how they can use these to review and update their own safety procedures, put together or expand their WH&S manuals – and, most importantly, ensure that their employees are well protected whenever, and wherever, they are working,” he added.

The Work Health & Safety Webinar will be held at 11:00AM AEST with registration available to ASGA members only. Click here to register.
