ASOOF invites industry to Penrith Print Museum site tour

The Australian Society of Old Friends (ASOOF) is inviting all of industry to attend a site tour of the Penrith Print Museum that it will be conducting, which will be followed by a roast lunch at Club Paceway, on 20 June.

The Penrith Museum of Printing is a fully operational Museum featuring handset lead type, wood type, Linotype and Ludlow.

A 1700’s Replica Common Press, 1841 Columbian, 1864 Albion once owned by Neil Mulveney, as well as Chandler and Price, Arab, Heidelberg, Vert Miehle and a Wharfedale presses will all be operational and running on that day.

The guest speaker for the event is Wide Format Online’s Andy McCourt.

The event commences at 10.45 am at the museum and those interested in attending can RSVP to Peter Munro at pmunro48@yahoo.com or Scott Telfer at swtelfer@bigpond.com by 16 June.

The cost to attend is $50.
