Well over 50 people flocked to the stand of the Ipex Daily trade fair newspaper, which is being published by ProPrint‘s UK sister title, PrintWeek.

The crowd was made up of printers and vendors who had made the trek to Ipex, with strong showing from the likes of Geon Australia and NZ, Fujifilm, CPI and Ferrostaal.

Two partygoers – Allardice Graphics Arts managing director Ken Allardice and Geon NZ group general manager Andrew Durrans – were even pulled into interviews by reporters of the Ipex Daily to appear in Q&As in coming issues of the 10,000-run show newspaper.

The evening event ran from afternoon until the show halls were closed down at the end of the day, with visitors such as the team from Fergies Print & Mail (pictured), toasting a fun night amid the halls of the NEC.
