Australian Graphics Supplies to sell HP Latex wide-format kit

Shane Lucas, HP graphic arts director for South Pacific, said that the move will strengthen HP’s presence in the wide-format market.

“HP’s Latex technology is a perfect complement to AGS’s existing range of products, and will provide their customers with the opportunity to experience the benefits of HP Latex firsthand,” he said.

AGS group general manager Luke Naumann described the product as the “perfect fit” for the company.

“The HP Designjet L25500 Latex ink printer, which is both cutting edge and environmentally conscious, is a perfect fit for AGS and its customers,” he said.

“The opportunity to develop a partnership with one of the world’s most recognisable brands only enhances the significance of this opportunity to distribute this groundbreaking product.”

Chris Dutkowski, national business development manager for AGS added that the deal would open up new sales avenues for AGS.

“The latex product is great because you can run it in an office without any outgassing, meaning you can print straight away without the fumes.”

The HP Designjet L25500 is now being sold through AGS, Celmac, Cielab, GBC, PT Store, Arthref & Aish in Australia and through Aarque and Jenrite in New Zealand.
