Autobond shows latest UV laminator

The vendor has been demonstrating the B2 portrait inkjet machine alongside the Mini 36 TPM-36 SUV, the company’s first spot UV lamination machine.

“The idea for the spot UV machines came at Drupa 2008 and, in the four years since, we have put in the research and come up with a fantastic product,” said managing director John Gilmore.

The machines are being shown alongside Autobond’s other laminating kit, including the Mini 105 TPHS, a high-productivity thermal laminator capable of producing lamination on one or both sides in one pass with a maximum speed of 10,000 B1 landscape sheets per hour.

“I think the big book guys will go mad for the 105, but we have all the machines running and there has been a lot of interest in the products from all over the world,” added Gilmore.
