The association said the third annual event would be “a celebration of innovation, creativity and high quality in print”.
“In considering your entries, we are looking at things that are done differently,” it said.
“It could be a print job on new substrates, new inks, smarter ways of working within tight budgets or ground-breaking technologies.
“We have deliberately not tried to narrowly define innovation and leave it to entrants to describe the points of difference.”
Categories include offset, web, digital, point-of-sale, outdoor and finishing.
The judges will be Paul Richardson (Lindsay Yates Group), Rose Farhart (JCDecaux), Jeremy de Villiers (Leo Burnett), Richard Daniell (RDA Creative), Sunnee Campbell (WeBunch) and Mark Gowing (Mark Gowing Design).
Entries close on 10 September with the awards dinner to be held at the Dockside in Darling Harbour.
The event is part of PrintCom, which will be held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre from 24-26 September.
Last year’s winners included Victoria’s Picpress and Superior Foil Print, NSW’s Creativecorp, Tafeda, Frontline Print and BMF Advertising as well as SA’s Finsbury Green. Click here for the photos.
