BJ Ball installing converter in NSW

BJ Ball has installed a new twin knife sheeter converter at its Sydney factory to keep up with demand for specialised packaging paper.

The new converter, BJ Ball’s fourth in Australia and first in NSW, will come online early next month at the Prospect facility. There at two others in its recently upgraded Melbourne site and one in Perth.

Packaging sales executive Brad Partington says a local converting facilities ‘will provide many of our national and Sydney-based converters and manufacturers the confidence required’.

National converting manager Andrew Lees says the company is expanding its national service offering in line with the growing customer packaging board requirements.

The converter is capable of converting its full range of packaging grades including Tambrite, Formakote, Hi Q, Incada Silk, and IP Everest.
