Bobst announces enhancements for Drupa

According to the company, the changes have been designed to bring customers “closer to a world of zero-faults, low waste and high productivity”.

Its sheetfed folders will feature makeready times reduced by over 10%, as well as improvements to reduce production costs and cut-setting times.

Its web-fed side will display printing machines and laminating equipment, with improved operator control.

Additional launches will include quality control devices that check 100% of customers’ production, whether it is the print on a carton or the density of a metalised film.

The company will also present the first results of its new “group strategy”, launched two years ago.
