The company claimed this enables users to combine inspection with creation in one automated PDF preflight inspection process.

In addition, operators can use the ImageServer UB2 ScriptAssistant from Helios to create hot folder automated workflows that can handle PDF-checking.

By using the company’s WebShare UB2, the print server, PDF delivery and preflighting are all available online through remote access.

Helmut Tschemernjak, chief executive of Helios, said combing PDF generation and delivery with “sound PDF preflighting” is necessary to ensure high quality and reliable PDF production.
