Replacing Shuichi Tsukahara, who led Canon Oceania for seven years, Kobayashi has been with the company for 27 years, most recently serving as president and CEO of Canon Hong Kong.

“The Australian market presents a unique set of challenges and opportunities and my experience leading Canon in the Asian market has prepared me well for this role,” said Kobayashi.

“I look forward to joining a team of creative and dedicated professionals, and further growing the Australian market while continuing to deliver outstanding customer experiences.”
