Canon launches new Arizona series

Canon has launched what it says is a new and improved Océ Arizona 1200 Series UV Flatbed, which comes as the result of customer feedback on previous models. Canon promises the new Océ Arizona 1200 Series UV Flatbed has been designed with a focus on quality, versatility, reliability and ease of use to help their customers create stunning print work to draw in their market. The new series comes in three models the Océ Arizona 1240 GT/XT, the Océ Arizona 1260 GT/XT and Océ Arizona 1280 GT/XT. Product manager at Canon Tom Mckerrow says the new flatbed series has been designed with its loyal customers in mind. “There has been demand from customers and we have tried to listen to customers on what they would like to see in a flatbed,” he says.

Canon says several of the enhancements made to the new flatbed series are in line with customer needs, including the two different format sizes and three different configurations available. Canon says it has also improved print quality. The new flatbed series are able to print on rigid media and objects up to 50.8 mm thick and as large as 250cm x 308cm. Canon says the new Océ Arizona 1200 Series UV Flatbed is capable of printing on odd-shaped, heavy, smooth or pre-cut media and is ideal for multiple prints. Mckerrow says the flatbed series would be the ideal printer for a range of Australian businesses, including classic signage and display markets, print producers and any traditional printers looking to bring in new ideas. He says, “If they have got creative ideas it is the perfect product to facilitate them.”
