The iW Publishing Manager provides a high-end document creation solution that incorporates well-known features such as spreadsheets, word processing document and presentations with more advanced functions such as stapling and double-sided printing.

The iW Document Manager is a scalable client-server solution which can be configured as either a small office/departmental, single server system or an enterprise-wide, multiple-server system. The Workgroup Edition of this module is aimed at workgroups within small-to medium-sized organisations and offers security, check-in/check-out, search, annotation, and distribution features. The Enterprise Edition, for workgroups within medium-to-large enterprises incorporates additional database storage, audit and reporting tools, versioning, document expiration settings and data encryption.

The iW Scan Manager interfaces with the Document Manager and provides a scanning and indexing solution for large volume storage and retrieval, while the iW Document Manager Gateway document capture utility allows documents scanned in an imageRunner device to be automatically placed into iW Document Manager folders.

Canon Business Imaging Solutions Group national marketing manager David Gradwell says the availability of these applications, when combined with the imageRunner and DR-Series printers provides businesses with a complete imaging solution.
