Sydney-based Centrum Group is seeking a supply chain manager to join its team.
The individual needs to be an experienced print supply chain manager that will be in charge of and control all of the company’s incoming and outgoing goods, inventory management and overall supply chain, material management and negotiation.
Centrum Group CEO Craig Elvin told Sprinter, “Centrum Group is looking for an experienced supply chain manager to manage our goods inwards and outwards.
“Further to that, the role will be responsible for sourcing of materials including supply negotiation and contracts. as well as all stock control throughout the facility.
“We have got to the size where we need more control over raw materials and our overall supply chain, rather than rely on a job-by-job basis.”
In April 2024, the company invested in a new FUJIFILM Acuity Prime 30 to broaden its print work for both new and existing clients.
At that time, Elvin said the investment into digital equipment provides the business with the ability to complement its strength in offset printing.
“We are known for creating big bold colourful packaging and point of sale for many clients, but we are also asked to produce a lot of other different work for customers. One of the reasons we have installed the Acuity Prime 30 is because we want to be able to control the production process in-house, not relying on external companies,” he said previously.
“It has also been great to help turn around work for clients in a couple of days that we have not been able to deliver previously.”
