Change at technotrans announced during PacPrint

After a review of its regional operations, technotrans has taken the opportunity to transfer overall responsibility from Singapore as headquarters of South East Asia, to Hong Kong as its Asia Pacific headquarters.

The area will be known as technotrans asia-pacific ltd, with technotrans Australia becoming a branch office of the Hong Kong subsidiary. Management see this as a logical step to streamline regional activities, while maximising overall sales and support functions.

All associated arrangements are expected to be fully in place by July 1, 2009 and as a result, there have been several changes in regional responsibilities, among them the appointment of Ralph Pernizsak as regional managing director (Hong Kong) which also includes a prime focus on sales within the region, and Castley as general manager (Melbourne).

Among the positive changes reported by Castley are the recent addition of two new local support staff: Abdul Rahman has relocated from technotrans Singapore to take up the position of customer service manager, and Heiko Pohlmann from technotrans Germany HQ as a refrigeration qualified service engineer, both located in Melbourne.
