Changing of the guard at Muller Martini Australia

After 25 years with Muller Martini Australia and the last decade as country manager, Roman Beeler is stepping aside with Ian Sampson named as his successor.

While Beeler is stepping down as country manager, he will remain in the organisation on a part-time basis with a focus on the technical side of the business and special projects providing continuity and invaluable support to Sampson and the Muller Martini team.

Sampson is an industry veteran and is known by many after spending decades in operations management with one of Australia’s leading printers.

“My job will be to pick up the reins from Roman and lead the company through the challenges and opportunities coming from the ongoing consolidation in the Australian printing industry, and the further developments in the digital sphere, where we have some very interesting new developments coming up,” Sampson said.

Muller Martini Asia Pacific regional managing director Sven Olsen said, “Our business and organisation in Australia is in good shape, so it is good timing for Roman to hand over the lead to Ian.

“And the fact that the two have known each other for 15 years and that Roman remains in the organization in a different role, is of course also extremely helpful for both us and our customers.”

Muller Martini Australia offers conventional and digital solutions for book and magazine production, including stitching, sewing, soft and hardcover binding, as well as related technical services and parts solutions.

Muller Martini Australia are also moving to new offices. From November 1st, Muller Martini can be found at Main Building, 26 Hume Highway, Chullora, NSW 2190. Contact numbers remain unchanged.
