Chatswood new home for PIAA

The peak industry association PIAA has moved into its new Chatswood office suite, following the sale of its former headquarters in Auburn. CEO Jason Allen says the move is part of the PIAA’s efforts to build a stronger association with industry members and to provide a suitable home base for print. He says, “Our new premises are part of our evolution that requires us to simplify and consolidate our operations in order to be better partners for our members and industry stakeholders, grow our services network and realise our full potential.”

The PIAA bought the Auburn premises a decade ago, leaving its former CBD suite to ‘get closer to printers’. Since then full time staff at PIAA have reduced in number, leaving the association with a bigger space than needed. Coupled with that property prices in Auburn have skyrocketed, enabling PIAA to sell for a profit. The new Chatswood office is next to the train station, and a short drive from the M2, offering members easy access. Allen says there are hot desks available to any members travelling in Sydney to make use of. Address is Level 3, 9 Help Street, Chatswood.
