CMYKhub in charity drive for orphans

Clive Denholm, managing director, CMYKhub says, “We are looking to assist Hands at Work to raise $35,000 to build a safe place where vulnerable children in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) can receive education and food.”

CMYKhub can be contacted to receive a brochure on the project, which has information on the history of Hands at Work in Africa.

Denholm says, “This brochure can be forwarded onto other businesses to raise awareness. CMYKhub will kick in $20,000 to get the fundraiser going.”

Denholm also wants to put a group of people together next year to visit Africa in person and to increase the support for the children.

He says, “Over 26,000 children die every day due to hunger; the areas that Hands at Work operate are in some of the most affected areas in Africa. It costs just $20 per month to ensure that an orphaned child has food, clothing and education.

George Snyman, founder of Hands at Work in Africa, has been travelling through Australia this month, speaking on behalf of these children.

Snyman says, “We seek to create a place of safety and hope for these most vulnerable children in Kikula, by empowering this community to care for it’s own. Together, we can make a lasting difference.”
