CSI updates website for opportunities with new partners

CSI, the commercial arm of Corrective Services NSW, has gone live with its updated website, aiming to share its work with a broader audience and create opportunities with new partners.

CSI manufactures and supplies product and services in partnership with the private sector and government.

This may include assisting organisations with overflow work or import replacement work supporting Australian business to keep manufacturing onshore.

“The previous website was outdated, and we wanted to improve our presentation with a dynamic CMS. The new look is a clean modern layout which will allow us to update regularly with new content and showcase the amazing work our teams do,” CSI marketing manager Donna Elayadi said.

“We are driven to inspire people in custody to feel proud of the work they do, supported by education to enhance the opportunity for post release employment.”

Elayadi said the website refresh was needed as the previous one was outdated, and CSI wanted to improve its presentation with a dynamic CMS. The new look is a clean modern layout which will allow CSI to regularly update the site with new content and showcase the amazing work of its teams.

As part of the website refresh, the site includes an improved navigation and information architecture.

“Our brand is represented in a strong and structured format with a personalised domain URL.

We wanted to share the story of CSI – who are we, what we do, and why we do it, so people have a better understanding of our purpose,” Elayadi said.

“We have also updated our images to validate the quality of our business units and ideally highlight how the public and private sector can partner with CSI.”

Elayadi added that further changes can be expected.

“Next year, we will be introducing videos on each of our industries to clearly communicate the quality of our business units or workshops and how they operate.  We will also be introducing product pages; this will allow the consumer to have more detail at their fingertips,” she said.
