Currie brings in Mako small format CTP

The Mako 2 has been out for a year, while the Mako 4 is a new arrival. Both systems use visible violet light, as Mr Black reckons the cost is a fraction of that for green laser or thermal,. ECRM’s aim with its CTP systems was to create quality and registration, for the same price as an imagesetter, which the company claims it has achieved with the Makos. The Mako series CTP systems cover a wide range of presses from AB Dick 3000s up to Speedmaster 74s
