Currie to exhibit at Visual Impact

Printer supplier Currie Group will bring its mobile showroom to Brisbane’s Visual Impact tradeshow this April.

Visual Impact organisers say the integration of Currie into the exhibition is a step towards the ‘unification of traditional printing and digital, wide-format industries.’

Visitors to the Currie showroom will view equipment from suppliers such as HP Indigo, Horizon and Foliant covering pre-press workflow, digital print and automated finishing in a ‘fully integrated’ environment.

Visual Connections general manager of tradeshows and magazines Peter Harper says the addition of Currie Group is a ‘significant moment’ for both the show and the industry, and merges all facets of print under one roof.

“As the different sectors of the industry crossover, it makes sense that our trade shows encompass not only the sign, display and engraving industries but the leading suppliers and experts of the print and graphics industries,” says Harper.

Currie Group will join regular exhibitors such as Roland DG, Graphic Art Mart, Canon and Epson.

Visual Impact will take place from April 14-16 2016 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Sydney event is also scheduled this year for September 15-17 at Sydney Olympic Park.
