Thornton has worked extensively on radio and is also a familiar face on Australian TV shows such as Talkin’ ‘bout Your Generation, Good News Week and Studio A. Many will also recognise him as a regular guest at the desk on The 7pm Project.

John Wanless, chairman of the NPA says, “Dave’s easy, conversational humour will fit in beautifully with the style of the night, which is always focused on spending time with friends and colleagues, and we’re certain he’ll be a very popular choice with our guests.”

The night will also include the entertainment from hosts Gorgi Coghlan and Larry Emdur, and a three-course meal.

Organisers add that tickets are selling fast as demand for this year’s event is particularly high due to its timing with PrintEx11.
