Digital Post also part of Fujifilm Salmat deal

Randy Dean, CEO, Digital Post Australia says, “We are excited about having Fujifilm’s global perspective and assistance in making digital Post Australia a great success. Despite the change in ownership we’ll continue to work with the same BPO team that has been a key contributor to our success so far ad similarly, our clients and partners are unaffected by this change.”

Digital Post Australia was announced in March, it is a paperless postal system that puts all the essential mail in one place. It became the first provider of digital postal services in Australia with the launch of Digital Postbox. It combines a digital postbox with an organised filing system to create a complete household archive of essential documents.

Dean says, “We remain on course to deliver this new service to Australian consumers later this year and look forward to working with the team at Fujifilm as we continue to lead the creation of digital postal services for all Australians. It’s great to have any uncertainty about the business put to rest and we are unwavering in our focus on creating Australia’s first digital postbox.”

Digital Post Australia won a Federal Court decision which dismissed all claims made against it by Australia Post in including trade mark infringement, misleading and deceptive conduct and passing off.

David Hynes, chairman of Digital Post Australia says, “Throughout these proceedings we have remained focused on moving our business forward and have made substantial progress toward reaching our business objective of delivering the first and best digital postal service to Australians.
