Drupa director, Sabine Geldermann, has provided an announcement regarding the dates for the next exhibition to be held at Messe Düsseldorf in 2028.
In an exclusive interview held during her appointment on the Durst stand at Printing United in Las Vegas, Geldermann said she expects to release the dates for the 2028 show within the next week.
This year Drupa was held over 11 days from 28 May to 7 June with a large number of exhibitors requiring an extensive amount of time both before the exhibition and after the event to install and remove machinery from the exhibition.
Geldermann was in Las Vegas to meet with suppliers about Drupa 2028 and also to create the next steps in her strategic partnership with Printing United.
The partnership with Printing United announced during Drupa 2024 was designed to “make all their events more relevant and beneficial to both attendees and exhibitors in the ever-changing printing technology landscape”.

“Printing United Expo’s one-roof approach aligns very strongly with what drupa has brought to the industry over the last seven decades,” Geldermann said when the partnership was announced.
“Showcasing the many applications printing technology has these days, not only in the graphic arts field but in packaging, industrial and textile is what our attendees appreciate,” she said.
Also commenting on the partnership Printing United Alliance CEO Ford Bowers said, “Our partnership with drupa underscores our commitment to advancing the entirety of the printing industry. Together, we will be able to deliver even more opportunities for growth and collaboration to all who participate in the marketplace of events. We look forward in the coming months to sharing our conversations on how this partnership will unfold and the benefits to all our partners”.
