Anthony Parneman, Australian general manager at EFI says, “In today’s business environment printers are under pressure. The EFI end to end solutions are designed to take that pressure away, by ensuring that the business is operating at peak performance through the effective use of data management.”
EFI will create an end to end solution that starts with web to print and MIS, then goes to preparation and production to output. Data is sent both ways, so that the management is aware to the cent of how much money was spent where, and so that it operates at its optimum.
Parneman says, “EFI eliminates touch points all along the production chain, so reducing costs, time and mistakes.”
New from EFI at the stand and completely different was the Smart Sign Analytics. Essentially a facial recognition system that records who is looking at a sign, how long for, and when, it is a camera linked to a mobile phone which sends the data to the server.
