
EFI’s product portfolio includes Fiery digital print controllers and solutions; VUTEk superwide digital inkjet printers, UV and solvent inks; Rastek UV wide-format inkjet printers; Jetrion industrial inkjet printing systems; print production workflow and management information software; and corporate printing solutions.
The company has been particularly acquisitive in buying up competitors in the MIS sector in particular, New Zealand-born Prism having been absorbed into EFI last year.
According to Gecht, each acquisition has further strengthened EFI’s software development core. EFI’s complete print MIS line-up now comprises PrintSmith, Pace, Logic, PSI, Monarch, Radius, PrintStream, PrintFlow and Digital StoreFront.
EFI’s drupa showing will be unveiled on April 3.
