Velocity Balance, which was previously only available in Europe and the US, is a graphic arts workflow solution which facilitates printing throughput for production and manages Fiery connected printers and input devices as a singular ìvirtualî device. Accompanying Velocity Balance are optional add-ons Velocity Scan, Velocity Build for document preparation and Velocity Estimate for automated job, cost and time estimation.

ìVelocity enables quick printers, production facilities and commercial printers to benefit from faster turn-around times and cost savings by maximising the productivity of their existing equipment,î says EFI Asia Pacific senior sales and marketing manager Eric Holtsmark.

EFI also gave a sneak preview of its Velocity One Flow solution for small-to medium-sized commercial printers, quick printers, in-plants and tradeshops, which Holtsmark promises will ìmarry all output devices regardless of their typeî. One Flow is due for release in Australia in April or May.
