Epson amongst “The 2024 Asia IP Elite”

Epson has been selected to be among “The 2024 Asia IP Elite” by Intellectual Asset Management (IAM), a global intellectual property media outlet.

The Asia IP Elite recognises companies and organisations that excel in intellectual property value creation as determined by IAM based on its annual evaluations of companies and organisations.

In 2024, 93 companies in the Asia-Oceania region were selected. Epson has been selected for this honour for 10 consecutive years since 2013.

Epson said a key reason for its selection is its ability to achieve sustainability and enrich communities. To achieve this vision, Epson has formulated an intellectual property strategy that aligns with its business and development strategies aimed at solving social issues, as outlined in its growth strategy scenario.

Under this strategy, Epson engages in various intellectual property activities to strategically accelerate business growth, including acquiring and utilising intellectual property rights to protect its proprietary core technologies, services and brands.

It also engages in brand support activities to enhance corporate value and innovation support activities to promote the creation of new businesses.

Epson added it will continue to closely align its intellectual property strategy with its management, business, and development strategies to convert intellectual property into corporate value by proactively utilising all intellectual property in support of business growth and to realise Epson’s sustainable growth by continually engaging in such activities.
