Epson to host Qld large format expo

The first Epson Large Format Product Expo in Queensland is to be held at Brisbane’s Warehouse Studios tomorrow and Thursday.

Epson says the expo will feature the company’s complete range of solutions in signage, photography, proofing, production, dye sublimation, direct to garment and technical printing.

According to the company, the expo begins with a demonstration of the Epson SureColor Signage range, including PrecisionCore head technology alongside an UltraChrome ink set. Epson says the printers produce output that dries quickly enough to enable same-day job turnaround when lamination is required.

The second demo area is highlighting the SureColor Fabric range, demonstrating the SC-F2000 direct to garment printer and the SC-F9200 64” dual head roll to roll dye sublimation printer, which operates at 57 sqm per hour, with sellable production modes and a 12 litre continuous ink supply system for long production runs.

The third demo area covers premium photo, fine art, poster and graphics production, as well as proofing and packaging design applications. Epson says the SureColor SC-P9070 supports a wide range of standard and specialist media in roll and sheet formats. It features a PrecisionCore Thin Film printhead with Variable Sized Droplet Technology that enables the output of images in high resolution with superior fidelity and tonal gradation, according to the company.

The final demo area features the new Epson SureColor Technical range. Epson says this series is designed to address the needs of retail and business graphic printing and uses a low cost 5-colour aqueous UltraChrome ink set to produce extremely cost-effective output on coated and uncoated stocks, while prints dry instantly and provide durability against abrasion and moisture damage.

The first ever Epson Large Format Product Expo is on March 8-9 at Warehouse Studios, 2/98 Wecker Road, Mansfield, QLD 4122.
