FESPA Australia conference program released

FESPA Australia has released a packed schedule for its inaugural conference which is being held from 8am to 2.30pm on Thursday October 27 at the Shangri-la Hotel in Sydney with the ProPrint Awards commencing from 6pm in the same venue.

A number of speakers have now been confirmed for the FESPA Australia Conference with Jon Dee – Planet Ark founder, former Australian of the Year and the Australian coordinator of RE100 – a global initiative bringing together hundreds of large businesses committed to 100% renewable electricity – providing the keynote address. The keynote address will show sustainability is about innovation, efficiency and long-term business planning and not just a vague green sympathy.

The conference will be officially opened by Alex McClelland, Orafol; Nigel Davies, FESPA Australia and Neil Felton of FESPA.

Panel discussions will follow for the rest of the day. The first panel is focused on “Achieving Sustainable Priorities” featuring Graeme Richardson-Locke, FESPA; Zaidee Jackson, Ball & Doggett and Thomas Anderson, Starleaton.

The second panel will focus on “Towards a Circular Economy”, featuring Julian Lowe, Coritex; Jeff Barr, AFI Branding and Jordan Leach, Avery Dennison.

Next up is a presentation on “Endurance and Perseverance” by Sky News sports presenter Jaimee Rogers.

The third panel will focus on “Automation is the Future”, featuring Eric Zimmerman, Keypoint Intelligence; Greg Cholomondeley, Keypoint Intelligence; Doug Robey, DFLOW and Nigel Davies, FESPA Australia.

The fourth panel will focus on “The Future is Now – Embrace It”, featuring Carl Harman, Imago; Alex McClelland, Orafol and Keith Ferrel, Cactus Imaging.

Nigel Davies will conclude the conference before a networking lunch gets underway, finishing at 2.30pm.
