Fespa organisers and exhibitors hail ‘record-breaking’ attendances

More than 22,000 visitors from 130 countries attended in the first three days.

Speaking on the penultimate day of the show, Fespa Events managing director Frazer Chesterman said: “We’re on course to match and possibly even exceed the 37,500 visitors at Berlin.

“But even more important has been the ‘quality’, with 85% being businessowners or key decision makers and the international mix.”

Chesterman’s comments were mirrored by a number of exhibitors.

François Martin, marketing director, Graphics Solutions Business EMEA, HP, said: “We have enjoyed good levels of traffic and there has been more than 300 new leads generated for our Latex technology alone.”

Martin’s sentiment was echoed by Gröner managing director Bernd Gröner, who added “this year was definitely an international show” and Dale Mortimer, director of marketing at Océ said the company had secured sales every day of the show.
