David Leach, president of the PIAA, and CEO of Look Print tells printers, “Your input will help complete the shape of our future services offerings and membership fee structure – which is why it is very important that we have your feedback.”

Printers have already been responding in numbers, with preliminary results from phase one research showing the top three priorities to date are training, business management consulting and access to research and best practice information.

Leach says, “Our survey ends on March 29 – so please take a few minutes to give us your opinions – and if you have already contributed to our preliminary results – thank you.”

The final phase of the survey features multi-layered questions centred around fee expectation and services packaging options.

The priorities highlighted so far bears out the success of the PIAA’s Future :Print programme, which has focused on the twin areas of apprenticeships and business consultancy, backed by an $11m government grant. Print business numbers at Future Print have exceeded the timeline, as the offer of free business consulting in particular has ben warmly welcomed by print businesses around the country
