APFA said the new site will give association members an “easy-to-navigate” portal.
Association president Peter Johnston said the website had already enjoyed critical success.
“Traditionally, industry associations have geared their website to members, however, we’ve taken a different view and deliberately viewed the site as a source of information and ideas for print service providers and those who design and commission print,” he said.
“A good finish can make or break a great print job,” said Johnston. “This is where the new APFA website can help.”
The redesign, which went live in January, was undertaken by a student and lecturer team from RMIT, who will continue to develop the website this year.
Johnston said that all members will have their services listed on the site, with new members getting an immediate listing upon sign up.
“We are getting good traffic, and have already seen a couple of new members signing up,” he said.
