Former Graphic Art Mart owner passes

Peter Tailby, former owner of Graphic Art Mart has passed away peacefully at age 85.

He owned the business along with his wife Pamela, and sons Mark and Glenn for 38 years, from 1978 to 2015. The family bought the business formerly Kevin Bolton Sign Supplies in 1976, before switching to its current name. The Tailby family sold the company to MM Plastics in 2015.

Peter Tailby had a passion for the industry, building up a small paint and brush supply company into one of the major signs and graphics suppliers in Australia.

The funeral takes place Monday 25, in the East Chapel at Northern Suburbs Crematorium at 11:30am.

Graphic Art Mart has serviced the sign and display market in Australia for around 45 years – marketing leading industry brands such as Avery Dennison, Roland DG, Arlon, Aslan, Mactac, Chemica, Mimaki, Sihl, CWT and 3M among others.
