Free service to check if you’re charging clients the right postage rate

Chief executive Rodney Frost said: "Not only should this get you in the door, it will show that you are truly trying to add value to your client and hopefully we can work together to save them on the largest cost component of a project."

"Over the past two years, we have been building an internal system to streamline how data for bulk mailings is handled to produce great results in savings across postage. We have been using it internally and it has really proven itself."

Printers need to provide the size, weight and service type of their client's mail as well as the data list. Cheque-Mates will then provide a full postage report, said Frost.

"The underlying thing is to find out if printers are charging the end customers the right postage rate," he told ProPrint.

"We will run the first three projects at no charge and then can discuss after those how we are tracking."
