Fuji Xerox scores high on sustainability card

The digital vendor released its sustainability report in September, hitting half of the targets within its environmental management system.

Achievements included reducing landfill waste by 41% and water usage by 11%. The report also noted reductions in carbon and increases in recycled paper sales and end-of-life equipment collected from customers.

Amanda Keogh, environment and sustainability manager at Fuji Xerox Australia, noted the importance of sustainability benchmarking.

“We have made significant improvements over the last year to ensure that Fuji Xerox Australia continues to be a market leader for sustainability in the Asia-Pacific region,” she said.

“Our commitment extends to our operations, partners and clients. We received the Banksia Award for sustainability leadership, and the ACCA award for sustainability reporting. Furthermore, we have been recognised in state government environment awards including the NSW Green Globes and the Victorian Premier’s Award.”
