Fuji Xerox to supply Screen flatbeds

Press supplier Fuji Xerox Australia has struck a deal with graphic arts firm Screen to resell its flagship Truepress Jet W3200UV flatbed UV printers.

The agreement will see Fuji Xerox add the 3.2 metre Screen press to its existing portfolio of Fujifilm Acuity Advance and Select UV wide format printers.

Screen managing director Peter Scott says the group welcomes Fuji Xerox to its reseller family, and says the W2300UV, is a complementary press to Fuji Xerox iGen machines.

“Fuji Xerox has an identifiable need for a high-production 3.2 metre model with roll feed option. Our existing Australian and New Zealand installations have proven this is a robust machine – made by Inca Digital in the UK – that can meet the demands of intensive production peaks reliably and with high quality,” says Scott.

“The W2300UV is the perfect partner for Xerox iGen Press customers wanting to tap into the signage and display market. We welcome Fuji Xerox Australia to the reseller network for Screen.”

According to Screen, the W3200UV model is capable of printing up to 230sqm per hour in billboard mode, 100sqm per hour in normal production mode and can print photographic-quality material for POP signage.

The machine can print on rigid media up to 3200mm x 1600mm, and with a roll-to-roll option it can print on roll media up to 3200mm wide. Screen also says the automated nozzle mapping and cleaning minimises operator maintenance for high up-time.

Truepress Jet W3200UV flatbed machines are available now from Fuji Xerox Australia, and the supplier has already commenced training for the model’s sales and technical staff.
