International Print Day is set for Wednesday October 26. This is the day that print organisations and print-related professionals around the globe will share their print ideas, networking opportunities and knowledge via the hashtag #IPD22 over a 24 hour period.

This year’s theme is #PrintSmart and represents working with the right tools and partners to maximise creative, marketing and business results through print. For more information click here.

“Girls Who Print Day and International Print Day are two opportunities for the industry to celebrate what we do, and celebrate the amazing women of print,” Deborah Corn, principal at Print Media Centr, founder of International Print Day and Girl #1 at Girls Who Print, says.

“Whether together or apart, community driven events like these remind us that we are all part of the bigger picture, and that there is much to be big, bold and proud of.”

Girls Who Print Day

Virtual and open to everyone, the #GirlsWhoPrint Day conference begins at 11am eastern on Thursday, October 13 (Sydney AEDT 2am). Taking a cue from Natalie Portman in her role as The Mighty Thor in Thor: Love and Thunder, becoming big and bold is the central theme of the event.

The day’s agenda includes presentation of the 2nd annual Girls Who Print Rising Star Award by Kelly Mallozzi, and the 9th annual Girls Who Print Girlie Award by Deborah Corn at 12:30pm eastern. This years’ recipient will be in esteemed company, joining previous winners Pat McGrew, Cary Sherburne, Deborah Corn, Trish Witkowski, Jules Van Sant, Sabine Geldermann, Dawn Nye and Julie Shaffer.

The event’s hallmark Women in Leadership panel begins immediately following the award presentations with a discussion about building a pipeline for women in print.

Everyone who supports women in print is encouraged to visit girlswhoprint.net, where they can download and share the Girls Who Print Day poster, peruse the event schedule, and register for the Girls Who Print Day conference.
