Goss emphasises web offset innovation at Ipex

European marketing manager at Goss International, Eric Bell, says Goss is focused on continually improving the value proposition for customers.

“At Ipex this is shown through products designed for increasing quality and flexibility, wider webs and faster speeds, achieving higher productivity and improving makereadies and paper waste,” he says.

“Our web offset focus and innovative technologies are keeping our customers and print at the centre of the media market place.”

Technologies on display will include the Goss Automatic Transfer system for non-stop production, Goss Autoplate automatic plate changing, the Goss Web Center workflow solution, as well as the innovative Goss Flexible Printing System taking newspaper production to new levels of productivity and flexibility.

Additionally, Goss International finishing solutions will further demonstrate the company’s commitment to integrated, high quality web offset production, from data input through printing to postpress.

From the Goss product portfolio a number of commercial printing units will be exhibited throughout Ipex, including the Goss M-600 press, the Goss Sunday 2000 and Sunday 4000 press ranges.

Live Autoplate plate change demonstrations will take place on the Goss M-600 printing unit, and Autoplate and blanket change demonstrations will be done on the Goss Sunday 2000 unit. The Sunday 2000 unit will also be equipped with the Goss Automatic Transfer technology.

Goss will be revealing the latest developments to its finishing range including the Goss Pacesetter® high-volume saddlesticher for the production of customised printed products, the Goss Magnapak packaging system for inserting, collating and wrapping newspapers and the Universal Binder adhesive binder.

Finally, also on display will be an exhibit from the award-winning Goss Ecocool integrated dryer solution and detailed information on the full range of Goss newspaper press systems.

“We are looking forward to meeting our customers at Ipex and having the opportunity to offer them the support and expertise they need to develop their businesses,” says Bell.

Ipex is being held in Birmingham, UK from April 4 to 11, and Goss can be found at stand C70 in Hall 5.
